The Castle is the place where your king resides when he’s not in the capital city. The Castle from each village allows you to train settlers or units used to conquer cities, at levels 10,15 and 20, see how many influence points you have gathered and what’s the loyalty of your citizens. The Castle gives a defensive bonus for the troops and the buildings attacked by catapults. The higher the level, the bigger the bonus.
