<p>For those of you that still have unused VIP that you paid for, please send an email to <a href="mailto:alex@imperialages.com">alex@imperialages.com</a> with the following details: username, server, id of the paypal  transaction. We will refund you for the VIP that you haven&#8217;t used yet.  Please send the email from the address used when you registered in the  game. The money will be refunded in the next 7 days.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">After almost 3 years since we launched the first version of the game and 4 years after we started working on it, unfortunately the time has come to close down Imperial Ages. On August 6th, Friday, at 10 PM, both servers that are still running (S2 &amp; S3) will be closed permanently.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It started as an ambition to create a game that remedied many of the problems we saw with browser games at the time, including the fact that in our game no player would have an advantage over another by paying for it, as many other games do. Unfortunately, the game no longer makes enough money to support the costs of the dedicated server. As a result we chose to close the game now, while we still have sufficient money to offer a refund to people that bought VIP during the past year and still have unused months. Once the servers are closed, if you still have paid VIP which is unused, you can email us with the details we&#8217;ll specify at that time and we will refund you for the period which wasn&#8217;t used.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We&#8217;d like to thank everyone that tried our game and invested time and passion in it and we apologize for offering so little notice before we close it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We have no plans right now to re-open the game in the future. Though we discussed the possibility, it would require considerable funds and much more free time to invest in the game on a daily basis than we were able to until now.</p>

<p>The winner of S3 is player fitsi, which belongs to the BC + GNG alliance, with 51villages and a total score of 84804.</p>
<p>The highest ranked alliance at the end of S3 is Outlanders , with a total score of 808563 (an average of 24501 per each of the 33 members). Congratulations to Border , the Outlanders leader.</p>

<p>Sunday morning 07 March 2010 , around 10:00 the new graphic will be implemented in all running servers. We may delay it 1-2 hours depending on how much work needs to be done. </p>
<p>The graphic still has some minor bugs and a few things aren&#8217;t displayed perfectly but with your help we&#8217;ll finish all the modifications. </p>
<p>We decided that it is the best action to launch it as it is, than to delay the moment with another 1-2 weeks. </p>
<p>There are some bad news, unfortunately: The new graphic doesn&#8217;t work on IE 6 anymore. It&#8217;s to complicated and we used a lot of JavaScript so it&#8217;s quite impossible to make the it working as it should. Maybe in the future we&#8217;ll have enough time to modify it in order to support IE 6 too. </p>
<p>With the new graphic, in 1-2 months we&#8217;ll redesign the Imperial Ages front page, blog, manual and the forum. </p>

<p>The winner of S1 is player <strong>van peder</strong>, which belongs to the <strong>ELITE-100</strong> alliance, with 46 villages and a total score of 68,168.</p>
<p>The highest ranked alliance at the end of S1 is <strong>Browncoats</strong>, with a total score of 630,361 (an average of 8,404 per each of the 75 members). Congratulations to <strong>cicatryx</strong>, the <strong>Browncoats</strong> leader.</p>

<p>You have a 7 day free trial to test it, and see if you like what it has to offer. If you don&#8217;t, you can still play the game for free, and you&#8217;re under no obligation to buy anything. The game is still free for everyone. The VIP package is for those that want some comfort features while supporting the further development of the game and the running costs.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll release the payment by PayPal in a few days for the VIP and we&#8217;ll look into adding credit card payments in September probably. We need to test the PayPal payment first, so it will take 1-2 days before you can buy the package. In the meantime, go to the VIP page, in the upper part of the page and activate your free 7 day trial.</p>
